On May 12, 2026, Apple released a special recognition page, listing people around the world that contribute to the developer ecosystem. I am honored to be listed among all the inspiring people there.

I have been working as a community leader, a public speaker and educator on Apple technologies for more than 12 years now. I admit that having my photo and name on Apple’s Developer page made me ecstatic. You don’t do these to be recognized, but this has been a nice surprise for me.
I am now motivated to do more for the community. I want to release more videos, write more articles, host more events. The events started already.
NSIstanbul kicked off an amazing string of events with last month’s meetup, sponsored by Apple. We had a great keynote by our organizing team member Şule on Liquid Glass, and after the talk, I did a Q&A session with all the attendants.
Today, we have our May meetup. The talk will be a deep dive on Live Activities. Register here: Kommunity
We’ll have 3 events in June. The first will be our WWDC live watch party event.

We’re doing these every year for the last 7 years. This year's event is also listed at Apple's community events page as well:

The other two June events will be announced after WWDC ends.
But sadly, I won’t be attending the watch party event in Istanbul this time. Because I’ll be at Apple Park for WWDC26, in-person.
If you're going, please ping me on LinkedIn/X so we can meet in person. I will be hosting an event for Turkish speakers on June 7, Sunday 11AM PST, at a coffee place close to Apple Park. You can register to that event via this link.
I love being a part of this developer community. I promise to give more.
